This is a very special workshop to photograph the dragonfly roost, the dates are limited for these workshops. I have permission from the reserve to run these workshops and the price includes a donation to that reserve to allow them to continue the amazing work they are doing there.
The workshop runs from 5:30am - 10am
Full tuition, focusing on photographing the subjects in the field making the most of natural light and if, when and how to add additional light if needed. All subjects will be photographed where found in their habitat, we will not be gardening around the subjects or moving them for a better shot, instead we will look at how to make the most of potentially tricky situations.
Maximum of 5 spaces available (minimum of 3 people required to run the workshop)
What to bring:
Camera(s) and manual if you can, lenses, tripod (or monopod) any filters you have, LED lights, outdoor clothing including waterproofs, it can be very chilly and wet early in the morning and weather conditions can change quickly.
No refreshments are provided for the half day workshops so please ensure you bring water and snacks
A basic working knowledge of your equipment and a basic understanding of aperture and white balance are essential.
Saturday 22nd May - 4 SPACES
Monday 24th May - 1 SPACE LEFT
Wednesday 26th May - 2 SPACES
To book your place please use this link and selection (or both if you want) date you would like to attend.
I am hoping to run some half day macro photography workshops later this year, but it depends on the situation and whether reserves are open.
